Austin, Ep. 11

November 5, 2016 — For our annual Austin spectacular, Literary Death Match returned to Texas as part of the kick-off to Lit Crawl Austin at The North Door, and after many literary and comedic fireworks the night ended with Amy Gentry taking down Jason Neulander in a battle of American Psycho or Trump? to win Gentry the LDM Austin, Ep. 11 crown, and literary immortality to go with it.

LA, Ep. 19

February 14, 2013 — Literary Death Match kicked off 2013 in LA in grand fashion, with a colossal showcase of love, laughs, lit and wit at Busby's East that concluded with a LDM first-ever: three finalists. The result: Middle Men author Jim Gavin out-valentined Melissa Chadburn and Zarina Zabrisky by a human count of 21-18-11 to win the LDM LA, Ep. 19 championship.

NYC, Ep. 40

November 10, 2011 — Before a lively crowd at Alphabet City's Drom (only feet from where Literary Death Match was conceived 68 months before), Literary Death Match NYC turned 40 episodes old, and finished with a breakneck ending in which Team Teddy Wayne out-Cyrillic'd Team Angela Lovell by a final score of 8-4, winning Wayne the coveted LDM crown.

NYC, Ep. 20

November 19, 2009 — A night of humor high and low, literary and slapstick, LDM NYC, Ep. 20 also brought on the release of Opium9: The Mania Issue. After inviting the audience into the world of her absurdist imagination with a series of vignettes, Edith Zimmerman was thrust into absurdity of the Opium variety. She met the challenge, rising victorious over co-finalist Jon Friedman (The Rejection Show) in a tie-breaking Nerf-machine-gun assault on visual artist James J. Williams III.
