LA, Ep. 42

April 1, 2016 — For LDM's 10-year anniversary, we blew the doors off with our AWP Super-Spectacular at The Theatre at Ace Hotel, and set the LDM attendance record (801). Presented by 89.9 KCRW and co-presented by the Otherppl podcast and Painted Bride Quarterly, the talent-packed night ended with Kirstin Valdez Quade so-narrowly outdueling Danez Smith in overtime in a Literary Charades finale to win Quade the LDM LA, Ep. 42 crown.

March 23, 2016 — Our 10-Year Anniversary series of celebrations, Literary Death Match returned to LDM's spiritual home — the City by the Bay — for a ultra-fun night of calamity, literature and genius at the glorious Alamo Drafthous that saw Zahra Noorbakhsh narrowly outduel Shanthi Sekaran in a Lone Star Lit finale that went all the way to overtime to win Noorbakhsh the LDM SF, Ep. 60 crown.

March 10, 2016 — As part of our global 10-Year Celebration, Literary Death Match returned to the Windy City for our debut at iO Chicago for a night of lit and wit stars that ended with Erika L. Sanchez outdueling Tim "Toaster" Henderson in a fierce Literary Spelling Bee III battle that won Sanchez the LDM Chicago, Ep. 9 crown.

March 8, 2016 — To celebrate 10 Years of Literary Death Match, we returned to our Brooklyn home at The Bell House to put on a show for the ages, as the masterful lineup of can't-miss wonderments combined to bring an instant classic to the sold out crowd, as the brilliant night finished with Victor LaValle outdueling Idra Novey  in a battle of Lone Star Lit to win LaValle the LDM Brooklyn 10-Year Anniversary crown.
