April 3, 2014 — In Literary Death Match's colossal return to magical Austin — and more specifically Alamo Ritz— the packed house saw Neal Pollack outduel Elizabeth McCracken in a Cyrillic-Off by a final score of 145.1 to 145 — the narrowest of margins — to win Pollack the LDM Austin, Ep. 7 crown.

March 12, 2014 — On a steamy, vibrant night in Asia's coolest capital, Literary Death Match rollicked at the jam-packed XXX Gallery, where Shannon Young outdueled co-finalist Renate Leukert in an oh-so-close battle of Lone Star Lit that went to sudden death before Young nailed the final answer, to win her the LDM Hong Kong, Ep. 3 crown.

March 6, 2014 — A celebration 8 years in the make, Literary Death Match teamed with Picador to celebrate our 8th birthday at Concrete, a night that ended in sudden death as Jonathan Gibbs outdueled co-finalist Naomi Wood in a Rock vs. Paper vs. Literature finale by a score of 11-4 to win Gibbs the LDM London, Ep. 37 crown.

February 28, 2014 — In a fateful return to the Emerald City, Literary Death Match teamed with Painted Bride Quarterly at AWP for a spectacular at Lucid Seattle. The night ended when Abraham Smith outlasted Kiki Petrosino in a Lone Star Lit finale in sudden death overtime to snare Smith the LDM Seattle, Ep. 3 title.
