August 28, 2013 — Our late-summer return to Jolly Ol' was a massive smash, as the wowed crowd witnessed Sathnam Sanghera outdueling the amazing John Niven by the impossibly narrow margin of 8-7 in an audience-assisted finale of Scribble the Title, winning Sanghera the LDM London, Ep. 35 crown.

Edinburgh, Ep. 7

August 23, 2013 — On a wonder-filled night of glee, brilliance and graphic novel fantasticness, a packed house at the Edinburgh Book Festival's Jura Unbound LDM saw Team Amy Mason narrowly outduel Team Penelope & Ginny Skinner in an occasionally graphic-novel skewed battle of Literary Pictionary by a close-as-can-be final score of 181-8, to win Mason the Literary Death Match Edinburgh, Ep. 7 crown.

LA, Ep. 23

August 3, 2013 — On a dreamy mid-summer night, Literary Death Match barnstormed Nerdist at Meltdown Comics for a nerd-skewed night of lit and wit that finished when Cecil Castellucci narrowly toppled co-finalist Brian Finkelstein by a score of 4-2 in a chaotic graphic novel draw-off, winning Castellucci the LDM title.

Salt Lake City, Ep. 1 

June 27, 2013 — For our second annual cartoonists-only spectacular, Literary Death Match teamed up with the Association of American Editorial Cartoonists for our Salt Lake City debut (our 49th city!) at The Tavernacle. The night was  an eye-candy filled evening that finished with Steve Benson out-dueling fellow finalist Lalo Alcaraz 12.5 to 12 in a whiz bang Quiz of Death to win Benson the LDM Salt Lake City crown.

LA, Ep. 22

June 26, 2013 — Literary Death Match made its fateful return to the Hammer Museum, where a monsoon of literary fireworks were fired off. The finish: a "Fun in the Sun Quiz of Death" that saw Douglas Kearney outduel Iris Smyles 13-12 in a wild quiztastic finale that scored Kearney the LDM LA, Ep. 22 crown.

May 30, 2013 — Capping off a wild-times 6-city tour, Literary Death Match returned to the City of Angels — and our home at home: Busby's East — for a literary and comedic awesomefest that saw Dan Crane out-guess Margot Leitman in a blazing game of Pulitzer Prize Pictionary by a score of 11-4, to win Crane the LDM LA, Ep. 21 crown.

May 28, 2013 — In our third-ever trip to glorious Helsinki, Literary Death Match returned to our Finland home at Korjaamo where literary and comedic fireworks were ignited, en route to Salla Simukka outdueling Katri Lipson in a nip-and-tuck game of Finlandia Prize Pictionary by a margin of 11-4 to win the LDM Helsinki, Ep. 3 crown.
