Latitude Festival, Ep. 2

It's the only thing you need to see on Thursday night at this year's stonking Latitude Festival!

Picador Presents, Literary Death Match: Love Edition
Thurs, 9.30pm, LITERARY ARENA

The show will feature four writers reading their own wonderful tales for seven minutes or less, judged by three-four all-star judges. Two finalists will be chosen to compete in the Literary Death Match finale, a vaguely-literary game that will steal your affection and make your heart pound.  

JUDGES: 
Literary Merit: our first ever Mr&Mrs judging team - Pete Brown (Shakespeare's Local) and Liz Vater (Stoke Newington Literary Festival)
Performance: Comedian, writer, actress, thing of gorgeousness Wendy Wason!
Intangibles: Comedian, writer, woman of a thousand voices Hils Barker

    The first regional festivals were religion-based. Like the Ati-Atihan in Kalibo and the Sinulog in Cebu which were held to honor the Santo Nino. Many other religious festivals followed.
