Twin Cities, Ep. 12 

To close out September, Literary Death Match returned to Minneapolis for a Twin Cities spectacular at the Nomad World Pub that saw Lara Mimosa Montes narrowly claim victory over Safy-Hallan Farah in a game of Lone Star Lit II to win Montes the LDM Twin Cities, Ep. 12 crown and literary immortality along with it.

Louisville, Ep. 1

November 14, 2015 — For our Bluegrass State debut, Literary Death Match teamed with the bright minds at Louisville Literary Arts for their Writer's Block Festival to put together a wild and wily night at the Haymarket Whiskey Bar that ended with Hannah Pittard outdueling Gabe Tomlin in a Lone Star Lit finale to win her the LDM Louisville, Ep. 1 crown.

November 20, 2013 — To celebrate our 10th-ever Twin Cities episode Literary Death Match teamed with some of the region's lit-finest (Paper Darts, Revolver & The Tangential) at St. Paul's Amsterdam Bar & Hall to witness Team Neil Hilborn outduel Team Andy Sturdevant by a closer-than-it-appears final score of 55-30 to win Hilborn the LDM Twin Cities, Ep. 10 crown.

Twin Cities, Ep. 9

May 8, 2013 — To kick off our planet-hopping May tour, Literary Death Match returned to magical Minneapolis (and more specifically Nomad World Pub) for a humdinger of a night that finished with Allegra Lingo outdueling Christy Marie Kent 3-1 in a raucous game of Literary Pictionary that won Lingo the LDM Twin Cities, Ep. 9 crown.

Twin Cities, Ep. 8

The blood-thirsty crowds that packed The Nomad World Pub to celebrate LDM's 8th visit to Minneapolis (plus the launch of Lara Avery's Anything But Ordinary) saw the closest LDM finish in history as poet Heid E. Erdrich outdueled R. Vincent Moniz, Jr. in a Books by Numbers finale, winning by a final score of 2287 to 2286 to win her the LDM Twin Cities crown!

March 1, 2012 — On a wintry, throat-aggressing evening at Nomad World Pub, gobs upon gobs of literary and charming talent were on display to see Coffee House Press rep Kao Kalia Yang outduel Sarah Stonich (author of Shelter and The Ice Chorus) in a Neil Gaiman Cupcake Celebration that won her the Literary Death Match Twin Cities, Ep. 6 crown. Twin Cities, Ep. 5

October 20, 2011 — In an epic confrontation in the land of 10,000 lakes (though we only counted 15 from our plane window), the Nomad World Pub played house to one of the most electrifying comeback victories in LDM history as winner Peter Bognanni overcame a 5-1 "Cyrillic-Off" deficit to storm to a 8-6 win over brilliant co-finalist Cole “Inky” Sarar, winning him the Literary Death Match crown.
